A HISTORY OF RECORDINGS

Screaming Leopard Studios is a small yet intimate complete professional recording facility located in Hermosa Beach, California. This is a place where great music started and still lives on by way of strong local bands doing what they believe in. Influence and inspiration is derived from bands such as Black Flag, Descendents, Pennywise, The Last and the Circle Jerks.

Screaming Leopard Studios features a Live Room with a fair and universal consistency of acoustical treatment and a natural ambient character as if it were truly "ALIVE". The Control Room is equipped with a 1987 Series Trident 80C 32-Channel Input Console which is known for its high quality of great sound and ease of use for tracking and mixing, while maintaining the warmth and edge of its analog circuitry. Added to this is a Neve Melbourne Side Car Console equipped with (8) 33115 Broadcast Modules with Class AB output stages. Into the Digital Domain is a Pro Tools HD System and an extensive array of DSP/TDM plug ins. As for Outboard Gear, each rack space is occupied by a variety of analog/digital dynamic and time-based processing equipment which include a generous collection of mic preamps. Dynamic, condenser, and tube microphones are also ready for any desired use or application.
